RWASJ Welcomes Partnership with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Africa Chapter
Bamenda, Cameroon September 2026
“IT TAKES A NETWORK TO BEAT A NETWORK”
Rural Women Action for Sustainability and Justice (RWASJ) is pleased to officially announce its partnership with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) Africa Chapter, strengthening joint efforts to prevent online scams, promote digital safety and build resilient communities across Africa.
This collaboration brings together GASA’s expertise in scam prevention, digital safety and awareness with RWASJ’s grassroots experience and networks working with women, girls, youth and other vulnerable and underserved communities.
As digital technologies increasingly shape how people learn, work, communicate and access services, communities must also have the knowledge and confidence to navigate the digital environment safely. For RWASJ, digital safety is not only a technology issue; it is also a matter of justice, inclusion, human rights and community resilience.
Through this partnership, RWASJ and GASA Africa Chapter will explore opportunities to strengthen scam-prevention awareness, promote practical digital safety, empower vulnerable groups, support community-level prevention and reporting, and strengthen collaboration and capacity-building among relevant stakeholders.
For RWASJ, digital inclusion must go hand in hand with digital protection. Communities should not simply be consumers of digital transformation; they must be informed, protected and empowered participants in it.
RWASJ looks forward to translating this partnership into practical community impact, stronger awareness and meaningful action against online scams and digital harm.
Together, we can help build digital communities that are safer, more informed, more inclusive and more resilient.
