About RWASJ: Rural Women’s Action for Sustainability and Justice
Founded in 2020 and officially registered in 2025, RWASJ was born from a pressing need to bridge the gap for women in rural communities. We recognize that while rural women are the backbone of resilient societies, they often face the steepest hurdles; ranging from limited resource access to environmental and social vulnerabilities.
RWASJ serves as a national platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of rural women, strengthening their leadership, and driving collective action toward a more equitable world.
To empower rural women by fostering sustainable development, promoting social justice, and advocating for gender equity through integrated programs in economic growth, education, health, and human rights.
We envision a world where rural women are empowered, self-reliant, and at the forefront of shaping sustainable communities; entirely free from discrimination, violence, and socio-economic barriers.
The dedicated advocates driving RWASJ’s mission for sustainability and justice.
